Day 21: Weather Change

Today was not super great–– I wasn't feeling great on the road and got off less than 10 miles in. Missouri is incredibly hilly and the weather was crappy, and weather changes give me pretty nasty headaches.

I was able to get some extra sleep today though, which hopefully will translate to a better tomorrow!

This evening, I organized and picked up Subway for the team. Everyone was very appreciative, which helped my mood a lot. I also got to spend some time talking with my teammates Ali and Flavie while we waited for the food.

The most exciting part of my day was seeing a huge sign for the Laura Ingalls Wilder house–– my favorite author as a kid! I wish we had time to go check it out.

My plan for tomorrow is to try my very best to finish the ride!
