I woke up this morning with an extremely uncomfortable bottom and made the mildly disappointing decision to ride in the truck to the host and stay off my butt all day to let it heal.

My day was spent sleeping, doing general self-care, and eating a salad, but overall was a minor bummer so I won't dwell on it too much.
The day got much better when everyone got to the host–– the International Order of Odd Fellows. This is not a drill, and certainly not a joke.
Unfortunately, the fellows were simply not that odd. Fortunately, they had a pool we all swam and played Marco Polo in until dinner!
We also compared our tan lines, as can be seen below.

Dinner was stupendous–– mac and cheese with Italian sausage, garlic bread, sauteed veggies, and salad, with a chocolate ice cream sandwich for dessert.
After dinner I crashed pretty hard, so I am currently calling Jonathan and catching up on blogs before watching some "Stranger Things" and hitting the hay.
My dad and I made a plan to get me a new saddle in Garden City in three days, just before our next scheduled 100. If all goes to plan, I am hoping to ride that one, and hopefully finish it!
I'm also planning on trying to tough out the 77 miles tomorrow on my terrible saddle–– wish me luck and chamois butter!
I love that your dad is getting you a new saddle, your parents are so wonderful & caring. I also hope it goes well getting the saddle. On ward to a new day❤️
Hey, Livvy, I just read your last two blogs and am so sorry to hear about your troubles! Yikes! ☹️ I’m hoping that your new saddle does the trick and you will be good to go once again! I do wish you luck, and I do wish you chamois butter even though I don’t know what that means. The pictures that you sent are fabulous! 😘❤️ Thumbs up!
