July 15, 2022 in Saratoga, Wyoming

Today was not so hot––it started with saying goodbye to Dad, which was much harder than I expected.

I took the day off from biking because my knee really hurt from yesterday's sinking seat issues. I think it was definitely the right call, and the drive into Wyoming was relatively short.

I spent my morning taking a nap, and the afternoon working in a local sandwich shop catching up on blogs and planning our wheel dip party on the West Coast. I got a coffee called a Honeybuzz, which is a latte with oat milk, local honey, and cinnamon, and it was FANTASTIC, and a delicious egg sandwich.

The rest of the day was a bummer, so I'm not going to write about it. Better to just forget it and move on!

One bright spot was dinner though. There was no provided dinner for the team, so Dad treated us to a local restaurant! I had a fantastic quesadilla and the entire team had such an awesome time. We all laughed and danced around to the live music and made total fools of ourselves.

The day then returned to bummer mode. But on the bright side, tomorrow is an affordable housing curriculum day, so we get to sleep until 8! Off to get my shut-eye!
