Today was more tiring than most build days. Highlight reel it is!
Our host provided fruit, muffins, and yogurt for breakfast!
I was able to volunteer to paint today, and painted an entire tiny house a deep forest green.
Our build site manager, a woman named Kelly, used to be a veterinarian, and she was awesome.
After painting the tiny house, I got to paint more trim!
Habitat for Humanity provided us with sandwiches from a local shop for lunch.
I got a hammock and new sandals downtown during my free time.
I also made a visit to the local library to check it out and grab a coffee.
We were planning to go swimming, but since everyone fell asleep, I got a good nap in too.
There were lots of kinds of salads and desserts for dinner.
We had a presentation which I led and a bike rodeo! Lots of chalk and good talks with hosts.
I went to bed very early. :)
Only two more build days until I head home!
Love your new shoes. Sounds like you have found your groove!! Painting was a favorite activity for me too on build days. :-)
For sure, Buckie and I know that you are a good painter. Lucky Habitat for Humanity!. ❤️
