Day 7: Quarantine in VA

The sixteen of us who tested negative yesterday tested negative again today! That means we will be rolling out tomorrow morning (wakeup at 4:30) for a 75 mile ride through the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Although we were all technically in the clear, we stayed quarantined today for extra precaution. I slept in til 8:30!
We spent our day playing cards, reading, relaxing, talking, and resting. We also had tons of church members and alumni stop by with food for us!
I'll keep this one short because of the earliest wake-up yet.
I'm nervous and excited for the day tomorrow–– it's an incredible amount of climbing, but it's also supposed to be one of the most beautiful rides in the entire United States. I hope I'll be able to take pictures of the ride!
Fingers crossed, Livvy, that you and your 15 teammates continue to test negative for Covid. 🤞 You are a healthy young woman, and your stamina will help you get through this rough patch and back in the saddle soon. This quarantine day in Virginia is hopefully just a blip in your awesome biking trip. ❤️
I’m so grateful that most of you guys tested negative, & sorry for the ones that were positive (I’ll pray for a speedy recovery for them). Oh goodness❣️❣️The Blue Ridge Mountains are so beautiful, We saw just a little of them when we went to Tennessee and drove through the smokey Mountains. there was a lookout and you could see both the Blue Ridge & The Smokey’s. You will do great Livvy we’re rooting you on. Uncle jimmy and Uncle John left Thailand today will go to Singapore then on to San Francisco. Im sure that they will be chiming in on your journey soon..
